This checkpoint will be operational from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. only on
Tuesday, September 4, and Wednesday, September 5.
Location: West 6th Street between North Tryon Street and North College Street. All
vehicles must travel eastbound on West 5th Street to an access point at West 6th Street for
additional on-site direction. This location can not be accessed from North Tryon or South
Church Streets.
Vehicles traveling to the following destinations should use Vehicle Checkpoint #2:
• All buildings on North College Street between East 6th Street and East 8th Street
• 7th Street Garage
• Hearst Tower
