Sahun, Sierra LeoneLife in Sahun is a constant struggle. The village has one well, but this is located 500 metres away from the centre, meaning that a great deal of time is spent carrying water from the well to the village. The well also often fails in the dry season. They have no sanitation. We are raising funds to provide two wells with hand pumps and eight small community ecosan at different locations within the village. This will transform the wellbeing of the whole community, giving them the good health to be able to take up education and livelihood opportunities.
