Konia - Where we work (sitios de interés)

Konia, Sierra Leone 

Konia village has two wells which were built over 25 years ago, but both were damaged and intentionally contaminated during the civil war. There is no sanitation of any kind in this village and no health facilities. We are raising funds to provide four wells with hand pumps and ten small community eco-sanitation toilets at different locations within the village. This will transform the wellbeing of the whole community, giving them the good health to be able to take up education and livelihood opportunities.
