The vital piece of the jigsaw is hygiene education. The geographically dispersed Chittagong Hill Tracts area is home to 1.4 million people, made up of 11 ethnic communities. This can make hygiene education a real challenge. In Indramoni Para, WaterAid's partner Green Hill run hygiene sessions with the aid of picture cards. Girls like Kripa, 13, have learnt that "After going to the toilet you have to wash your hands with soap because your hands might be infected with germs and you can get ill."
