Nai Seng Saechao, 22. Shot to death by her boyfriend, Torn Luang Saephan, 36, of Hillsboro on Sept. 30. Police say the shooting occurred in front of several of her family members in her house in the 6100 block of Southeast Gadroon Street in Hillsboro. Saephan then killed himself. Saechao's family, who witnessed Saephan shoot Saechao at close range with a .380 semi-automatic handgun, told police that Saephan had a history of verbally and physically abusing Saechao and had threatened to kill her earlier.
