Descripción del sitio

Eluard Corzo-Bernal, 21. Died of a heroin overdose on Oct. 9 after it was injected into him by a friend. After Corzo- Bernal was sent home drunk from his job, Kaleb Ray Abraham injected him with the opiate in their Aloha apartment. Corzo-Bernal fell over, unconscious. Hours passed, and Corzo-Bernal, 21, didn't wake up. Abraham slapped his face and tried CPR to revive him, but neither worked. At 3 a.m., about seven hours after Corzo-Bernal got the heroin, another roommate noticed brown foam was oozing from his mouth. He and Abraham took Corzo-Bernal to the hospital where doctors said Corzo-Bernal's brain had been deprived of oxygen for at least 25 minutes. Corzo-Bernal was on life support for a time, then died of the heroin overdose. Police caught Abraham months later when he ran a red light and collided with another car, injuring the two people in it. Police found loaded syringes and heroin in his car. Abraham pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide and was sentenced to 4 years in prison without the possibility of early release.
