Danny Keefe LeGore, 55. Killed in a random shooting rampage in Hillsboro on Nov. 21 while helping a nephew move. LeGore was killed by a random bullet fired by Shawn Schumacher near Southeast Oak Street and Southeast 10th Avenue. Schumacher fled to Cornelius where he died in a gun battle with police. LeGore was described as a motorcycle aficionado who doted on his late mother and lived just four doors from a sister. LeGore did installation and repair for a heating and cooling company and helped neighbors in the manufactured-home community where he lived.
