August 17, 5 a.m., A 24-year-old man was shot in the leg following a dispute with two men over women and "territory" at a Wicker Park gas station.
The shooting happened at 1950 W. Division St. at a Shell gas station.
The man was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in serious condition, police said.
The offenders are described as two Hispanic men. One man was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, and the other man was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans, police said.
The two men fled on foot following the shooting.
