Three men sitting in a car were shot -- one fatally -- at the 803 N. Lorel Ave., authorities said.
Gregory Jones, 23, was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 12:55 a.m. Police said he was shot in the back.
Police said a 19-year-old man was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the back and another 19-year-old man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the back.
