July 13, A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot in the face and another man was wounded following a shooting early Sunday in the Far South Side's Pullman neighborhood.
The two were standing on the street in the 12000 block of South Lafayette Avenue when an offender approached and opened fire.
The teen died on the scene, and the man in his 30s suffered a graze wound to the head. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in "stable" condition.
Killed was Marlow Jones of 11945 S. LaSalle St.
