This peak in the Gangdisê mountains in Tibet is the source of some of the longest (and holiest) rivers in Asia and is a sacred mountain in four different faiths: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Bon. Pilgrims undertake the arduous journey of circumnavigating the holy mountain, but consider it sacrilege to climb it.
