This is a mound some 450 metres across and at its highest point about 8m high. To the south-western side there is a cleared flat area which may once have been part of the original mound, but seems to be being brought under agriculture. Outlines of ancient houses can be seen on the north-eastern side of the mound near the top. The surface is evenly covered in Roman potsherds and red brick fragments.
