(Iraq, An Illustrated History and Guide)Ali Ben Muhammad, having heard of "unrest in Basra," made a move to the edge of the swamplands to push Basran slaves to revolt. Thousands of slaves joined him. However, Ali Ben Muhammad died in 883 and his followers surrendered when they saw his head on a spear.
