A monument dedicated to war dead. The monument was build in 1982 by Khalid al-Rahhal. It depicts a very large shield hovering over the ground, as if being dropped from the gasp of a dying soldier. The shield is 42 meters in diameter and is covered in copper.This monument along with the Hands of Victory are part of a parade ground in Zawra' Park.
