Two days after the Karantina Massacre happened, the Damour Massacre occurred. Located 15-20 miles south of Beirut, the town was surrounded by Palestinian militiamen in January of 1976. Most of the Christian inhabitants fled, but those who stayed behind were systematically murdered.
