Just east of downtown, in the shadow of the new soccer stadium, this place at least looks the part of an authentic BBQ joint. But a close reading of the sign in front lists "chicken & dumplings" as a specialty - a bad sign indeed. The BBQ on one visit was generally bad - roast beef brisket and skunky ribs soaked in a watery sauce. Nice folks running the place though.
