Family joint owned by Houstonian, Rice grad and former Rice football player Greg Gatlin. The highly regarded BBQ makes up for the occasionally long wait at this tiny and busy BBQ joint. St. Louis style ribs may be the best in Houston; brisket is consistently good: moist and well-rendered though sometimes a bit light on the smoke.
