Photo Wikipedia The Church of the Monastery of the Pantocrator was built by Byzantine Emperor John II Comnenus and his wife, Empress Irene. The famous Middle Byzantine monastic foundation included a triple-church, a hostel, a hospital, and a hospice for the elderly, richly endowed by its imperial founders.
The main trakt, used as mosque is in poor, the right parakklision in better condition.
