• Wreck Site While carrying a load of fertilizer from Miami to Tampa, the 200 foot Honduran freighter Fantastico sunk in March 1993 as a result of the "Storm of the Century". Of the ten-man crew, only three were saved. The freighter now lies in 115 feet of water on her starboard side. Her mast, rudder, propeller, and rigging are still in place but the midship cargo areas have collapsed. The wreck is home to abundant fish life and many large goliath grouper.
