This beat begins at the 500 ft upstream from the 3rd Ave pedestrian bridge and goes upstream approx. 1.75 miles to Mississippi. Fish are in deeper water below drops/bridges and near banks. Suggest you fish around alameda bridge, then park upstream as close to sante fe as you can get. There is a lot of water here. Use your time wisely.
Take Ringsby Ct north, then Washington St north to I-70 west ramp. Go west on I-70 then take I-25 south ramp. Exit I-25 at alameda exit 208b. Turn right on alameda and move to left lane. Turn left on s. Platte r. Dr. Just across the bridge and go approx ½ mile. Bear left onto S. Platte River Drive and turn into Vanderbilt Park.
