Preferred port for US Navy ships in the Gulf and the most frequented among ports outside the US. Jebel Ali is the UAE surface hub logistics site in the NAVCENT area of responsibility. Just south of Dubai, the Jebel Ali-Fujairah land link is the Navy's pipeline to the Gulf should the Strait of Hormuz be closed.
