On Thursday, Obama goes to the Israel Museum to view the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Shrine of the Books. The scrolls are an ancient connection for the Jewish people to the region. Also at the museum, the president will visit the technology exposition to see Israel’s contributions to innovation.
“Seeing the ancient connection through the Dead Sea Scrolls and then the future that is being forged in Israel through the technology exposition I think will be a very powerful experience,” Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes said.
