Custom House - Merseyside Blitzed (sitios de interés)

The shell of John Foster's enormous Custom House is all that remains after the building had been badly damaged by both High Explosives and fire bombs during the May Blitz. The wartime image shows the front of the building that faced out onto Strand Street.
