I recycle simply because it is good for the environment. The state of the Earth as a whole is going downhill pretty fast, and if recycling helps the planet even a little bit, it is worth it in my opinion. It is such a simple way to help. How difficult can it be to set aside plastic bottles and cardboard boxes for recycling rather than throwing them away? I care about the Earth and the environment, and recycling is such an easy way to help.

I recycle because I have been taught to throw recyclable's into the recycle bin, and because it is not that difficult to throw a certain piece of garbage 3 feet to the left of the trash bin. This in turn helps the environment and hopefully is the start of a completely recycled future for my kids.

My family and I recycle. Recycling is picked up every other week in our town. Why not recycle? There is no need to throw plastic and other recyclables away. It's as simple as garbage, just a different container! You're helping the environment by placing these objects in a separate bin, super easy!

I do recycle; primarily because it isn't hard to do and helps us reuse resources, like Aluminum, that are useful for more than one product life cycle. This in turn helps company's cut costs and also makes their products more appealing to consumers since environmental friendliness is a growing trend. Plus, it just is good for the environment and, as a fan of a variety of outdoor activities, I definitely favor a healthy environment.

Why not recycle? If an item can have a second, third or fourth life, why not embrace that? So many items are now recyclable and I would much rather reuse them, than have them wasting precious space in a landfill. I would one day like to own a spacious piece of land to live upon, but if we keep throwing away recyclable items, that land will be impossible to afford. I do it for the environment, for my future, and the future of this planet and the people I love living on it.

Yes!! I hope that I'm doing my part in reducing some amount of waste. Realistically, I know everything I try to recycle does not get recycled but hopefully it can't hurt to try.
