All-vegan soul food. Really really good! Their mac & cheese is fabulous, as are the ribs and drumsticks.

Pescatarian restaurant with many well-marked vegan options. The Philly cheese steak-less sub is a favorite! Brunch on weekends. Full bar. 

New juice bar & vegan cafe.

Vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options. The emphasis is on healthy foods, and the restaurant doesn't have fries. D: But it's pretty good, for healthy food! :p

Very vegan friendly Asian chain with a full bar. They have a buckt o' tots with vegan sauce, sweet potato tater tots, vegan sushi, yummy noodle dishes, etc.

Pizzeria tavern that stocks Teese mozzarella. They have skee-ball machines in the back, and old pinball machines in the middle room. Definitely worth a visit!

Hampden bar with garlic fries, a vegan black bean burger, and a seitan "chicken" sandwich.

Bars. Lots of them. Also, good indy shopping.

Mt. Vernon health food store

Great family-owned health food store chain in Maryland. Hands down, the best vegan cheese selection in the area.

Vegetarian cafe & health food store out in The County.

Two pages of vegan options, including foods you just can't find anywhere else like the fried yuba wrap, healmay with cashews, or (my favorite) the orange yuba! They also have fancy drinks and vegan sushi. 

Nice, quiet Chinese restaurant with cheap drinks in cute Easter Island head cups from the 70s. The phone rings nonstop, but dine in and chances are you'll have the place to yourself. Vegan friendly menu and super friendly employees.

Falafel. Falafel! Okay, they have a vegan hot dog, too. But seriously, the falafel is what makes them famous.

The best soy foam you'll ever have on a latte. Also, their bagels are straight from NY and they're really fucking good. No vegan cream cheese, but they have garliclicious from-scratch hummus and PB/J you could get instead.

Vegan-friendly Thai. Special order without fish sauce, no eggs, etc. But that's pretty standard, right?

The baklava is usually vegan! Lots of other options as well.

Half the menu is vegan! All apps are vegan except the spanokopita.

They have vegan tamales. This is exciting!

Mexican restaurant with full bar. Good times!

Pizza & Indian carry out with very limited seating. The usual rules apply: request no ghee, no yogurt or cream, etc. Very accommodating employees.

They have lots of vegan options on the menu, including a "crab" cake! You must try this Maryland classic.

Vegan desserts, chickpea salad sandwich, and coffee. Oh, and a record-playing jukebox.

Burrito, rice bowl, and sandwich sort of lunch place. Very vegan friendly, with falafel, curried tofu, etc. available!

Mt. Vernon bar that has a cool, creepy stone basement with sofas and a fireplace. They have a veggie burger of the day.

Indian restaurant in Mt. Vernon. Rumor has it the lunch buffet is pretty well stocked with vegan items.

Book store focusing on social justice and anarchist books. Vegetarian cafe with many vegan options.

Soup cafe with many vegan options.

Thai restaurant. The brown & mushrooms sauces are vegan. Everything else, double check for fish sauce.

The Hipster Sushi Place. That also has coffee.

Also called Sweet 27. Gluten-free bakery with vegan cupcakes (of course), coffee, lots of tea, and a small menu of savory foods, including excellent greens, black beans, and plantains.

Gluten free restaurant next to Sweet Sin. Same owners. Some vegan options. BYOB.

The cafe isn't very vegan-friendly, but check out this very unique museum anyway.
