Space shuttle Endeavour's final journey to California Science Center

Around 2 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, space shuttle Endeavour will leave LAX and travel east on Manchester Boulevard, through Inglewood, head north on Crenshaw Boulevard and then east on Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard to Exposition Park.

Endeavour will make multiple stops along the way, where the public can view the shuttle.

Northside Parkway between Westchester Parkway and Lincoln Boulevard will be closed from 10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, through 6 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 12

Westchester Parkway will be closed between Loyola Boulevard and La Tijera Boulevard from 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 through 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12

Lincoln Boulevard will be completely closed in both directions between Sepulveda Boulevard and Manchester Avenue from 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 until 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12

La Tijera Boulevard will be closed between Westchester Parkway and Sepulveda Boulevard from 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 through 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12.

La Tijera will also be closed from Sepulveda Boulevard and Manchester Avenue on Friday, Oct. 12 from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sepulveda Eastway will be closed between Westchester Parkway to 87th Street from 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 and 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12

Manchester Avenue will be closed between Sepulveda Boulevard and Aviation Boulevard on Friday, Oct. 12 from noon to 5 p.m.

Crenshaw Boulevard will be closed between Vernon Avenue and 39th Street from 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 through 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.

Crenshaw will also be closed between 79th Street and Vernon Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard will be closed between Marltin Avenue to 4th Avenue from 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 through 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.

MLK Boulevard will also be closed between 4th Avenue and Figueroa Street on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bill Robertson Lane will be closed between Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard to Exposition Park Drive on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Space shuttle Endeavour will be parked on Manchester Boulevard between Glasgow Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard from 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12

Space shuttle Endeavour is expected to pass Inglewood City Hall at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13

Space shuttle Endeavour is expected to pass the Vons shopping center at Mancester and Hillcrest boulevards at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13.

This is where the Inglewood High School band will meet up with Endeavour to lead the parade to the Forum for a 30-minute public ceremony.

A 30-minute public ceremony will be held at the Forum's parking lot at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The Forum will open at 4 a.m. for visitors to come and prepare for the arrival of the shuttle. Parking will be available at Hollywood Park also beginning at 4 a.m.

The Inglewood High School Band and students from A-MAN Inc. will meet the space shuttle at the Vons grocery store at Manchester and Hillcrest and lead it to the Forum, where a number of dignitaries will make remarks.

Shuttle fans MAY have a chance to see Endeavour on Crenshaw Boulevard between 46th Street and Vernon Avenue shortly before 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13.

While this is not a designated viewing spot, Crenshaw widens up considerably here, possibly enough to let crowds gather but no guarantees, according to the LAPD.
