0: King Hall, KOH

King Hall is conveniently located right next to Webb Tower. 

 
Inside, you will find Cafe 84, with different places to eat (Jamba Juice, Daphne's, Baja Fresh, and more). There's plenty of tables for studying/eating. 

 
Located upstairs on the second level is the King Hall Computing Lab. This lab has  computer work stations, along with study rooms and couches/chairs/desks.

1: Roski/Architecture School

Right in between the USC School of Architecture and the Roski School of Fine Arts is a nice outdoor area with tables surrounded by trees. Also located here is the Shop Cafe which serves some of the best coffee on campus.

2: School of Cinematic Arts, SCA

This is one of the newest buildings on campus.

It has a really nice courtyard with a fountain, along with chairs and tables all around. It makes for a great study spot and also has a Coffee Bean conveniently located inside the building.

3: Law School Cafe

Located at the basement level of Musick Law Building, this cafe serves breakfast and lunch as well as an assortment of beverages and “grab-and-go" selections.

4: Hoffman Hall, HOH

Hoffman Hall, which houses the Marshall School of Business classes, has a nice study area right as you enter the building. Bright couches and plenty of outlets to do work on your laptop.

5: Popovich Cafe, JKP

Located on the ground floor of Popovich Hall, Popovich Cyber Cafe serves sandwiches, coffee, smoothies and a variety of packaged goods. It features flat-screen TVs and also provides wireless Internet service at tables located indoors as well as in the courtyard.

6: Annenberg, ASC

The Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism has a great building with two separate wings. The West lobby has plenty of tables and chairs to do work and is adorned w/ flat screen TVs always tuned to news channels. The East lobby has the same setting sans TVs.

The outdoor patio on the second floor is also another great option to go sit outside and get work done.

7: Ronald Tutor Campus Center, TCC

The newly built campus center is a huge building full of places to study. The main courtyard has a bunch of tables for those who prefer studying in a social environment.

Inside, the Trojan Family Room has tables and study booths, along with a fireplace that creates a nice ambiance.

That's not it. Located on the second and third floors are study rooms and lounges, including printing services. Also, study nooks can be found lining the upstairs halls.

8: VKC Library

Located in the basement of the Von KleinSmid Center, the Von KleinSmid Center Library is a graduate-level research and learning center focused on political science, international relations, public administration, and urban and regional planning.

Less frequented b/c of the fact that it is hidden away in the basement and not many students know it exists.

9: Hoose Library of Philosophy, MHP

Hoose Library of Philosophy encompasses a collection of more than 50,000 volumes. The main reading room features colorful stained-glass windows and recessed plaques depicting the world’s great philosophers.

10: Doheny Library, Literatea

Doheny Library is definitely one of the more frequented libraries but it still has different parts that students are unaware of. For the best studying, visit the bookstacks.

LiteraTea, a teahouse located in Nazarian Pavilion, at the northeast corner of Doheny Memorial Library, offers a selection of teas, coffees and other beverages as well as snacks.
