Updated at 24/05/2011 10:00h On 21 May 2011 at 19:25 UTC, an eruption began at Grimsvötn volcan, with 12 km (7 mi) high plumes accompanied by multiple earthquakes, disrupting air travel in Iceland, and in Greenland, Scotland and Norway.
