WOW! What beautiful fabrics! Mostly Liberty fabric, from a range of years, all sold at around £11-17 p/m, much cheaper than Liberty's offerings. Order online, or go in store, you'll be impressed :)
Don't forget that VAT is added afterwards for online purchases! *Voice of experience*

Great range of fabrics for a little store. Worth popping in if nearby. Prices range from £5-13 p/m when I was there
Más sobre The Cloth Store2: The Craft Cave
This little wonder doesn't sell patterns nor fabric, but they have a range of haberdashery items.
Más sobre The Craft Cave3: John Lewis, Liverpool
A great range of fabrics and haberdashery, but beware the prices! I paid double the price for some fabric compared to the cost online
Más sobre John Lewis, Liverpool4: Abakhan Fabrics, Stoke
Smaller than its Liverpool counterpart, Abakhan Stoke still sells a range of fabrics, with a range of quality and prices. Also pretty good range of other crafty bits

A wealth of great fabrics here, the prices can be hugely variable, from super cheap to surprisingly expensive. Very cool fabrics if you dig around long enough.

Pile it high and sell it cheap!
These guys sell a wide range of fabrics, from £3.30 p/m (seemed to be the standard price), for a minimum of 3 metres.
Surely a health and safety hazard given height of stock, get in, buy and get out!
Más sobre HC.Bhopal & Co11: Epra Fabrics
A much calmer experience shopping here than at Bhopal, but actually when I went I didn't see as much to take my fancy. Still worth a browse, prices are excellent
Más sobre Epra Fabrics12: The Cloth Store
Surprisingly good and cheap little fabric shop. Fabrics ranged from £5-15 p/m when I visited, though there were sale items in store too. Good range of zips and other bits
Más sobre The Cloth Store13: The Bankrupt Shop
This shop is really for interiors, but a bit of a dud all round.
If I'm being kind I guess some heavier weight fabrics for making handbags... Though I'm not sure you'd want to...
Más sobre The Bankrupt Shop14: Fancy Boutique
A good range of Sari fabrics. I've never looked at Sari fabrics before but found this store a little expensive for the quality on offer, prices at £15-25 p/m. Linings very cheap at £1 p/m though!
Más sobre Fancy Boutique15: Ditto Fabrics, Brighton
An absolutely lovely range of fabrics, a little overwhelming. Have decided to return, pattern in hand so I can choose from all of the lovely offerings!
Más sobre Ditto Fabrics, Brighton16: Abakhan Fabrics, Manchester
This Abakhan's is a bit messier than the others, but it still sells a good range of fabrics, depending on the day! Many fabrics sold by weight, at a good price.

Oh my gosh! Visiting the third floor was like a little glimpse of Heaven! The fabric range is extensive, and much more than Shaukat offer online. Great extras too, like VV Rouleaux ribbons, buttons and inspiration books. Worth a visit if you're in town!

Más sobre Liberty Plc18: The Fabric Place
I was really impressed by this store. Didn't see much evidence of 'notions' (buttons, zips etc) but they had a fantastic range of stunning fabrics. I had to pull myself away from some nice sequinned material! Lots of lovely silks and linings too.
Recommended!

WOW! I love this place! I'm planning to spend more time in Shewsbury soon, and so I think I'll be spending my money here too!
Exquisitly laid out, great fabrics, and with the best range of 'notions' I've ever come across. It is a little pricier than other places, but the fabrics make up for it.
Más sobre Textile Express20: Watson & Thornton
Wow, this shop in Shrewsbury is really jam packed with fabrics, but they aren't all exactly my taste! I saw quite a lot of fabrics I'd seen elsewhere (especially at Abakhans), but being sold about £2 p/m more expensive. More worth checking out are the fantastic range of buttons. Expensive too, but more unusual and worth browing
Más sobre Watson & Thornton21: Cath Kidston
A small but perfectly formed range of fabrics. Beware the prices though!
Más sobre Cath Kidston22: Fabrics Galore
Absolutely wonderful range of fabrics at pretty reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.
The staff were both helpful but disparaging to customers within earshot - an odd combination!
