Berlin has a special relation with WASPA. The first tournament held by the club of Sparta Spreeathen 74/82 was held during the FISTF Open of November 2012. The oranizer decided to have a WASPA tournament for the players who could not play the team event. 8 players took part and Phil Holmes was the first winner. the nice story is that there were players from 5 different countries, including Austria and reece playing under WASPA banner for the first time.
