20: Melrose Underpass
The Melrose Tunnel is one of only two ways to access Sherbrooke between Girouard and Cavendish. Obviously built with only able-bodied persons in mind, two steep (often icy) staircases limit accessibility for those with physical disabilities, the elderly, parents with small children and even cyclists.

26: MOMESSOS
Frequented by families and older italian men alike, the internal space is dominated by beer and sports paraphenilia. Despite the stereotypically 'masculine' decor, a picture clearly drawn by a child, a gumball machine and two high-chairs are small reminders that this is also a family friendly space.

Locally owned by a friendly Italian family, Marche Extra is more represetative of the demographic of people who have historically lived in the neighbourhood: families and Italians. Although the neighbourhood is now much more diverse, this demographic is still well represented in the area.
