Lower Pierce Reservoir Bishan Ang Mo Kio Park walk

This walk includes a nature reserve trail, a reservoir embankment walk and a park. The trail starts with a series of trails on wooden platform. You will be literally walking over the swamp. There is a section that goes over the edge of the reservoir. The reservoir embankment serves as a park to many visitors. The section between the end of the reservoir embankment and Upper Thomson Rd is actually not a track. You will have to walk precariously near the water canal near the flood gate. Alternatively, you could walk on the grass patch. Further down the path there is actually a food path almost covered by the greenery. Bishan park is just across Upper Thomson Road once you reach the road. It consists of two parks divided by the Marrymount Rd. It is a popular haunt by joggers, cyclist and holiday makers.
