"Where Does it Go?" Educational Game

Volunteers will coach families at picnic through the educational game, "Where does it go?" to help kids figure which items should be composted, recycled, or landfilled. We will also be composting all food waste and paper goods so we could use volunteers to guide guests at the waste station to help them properly dispose of their garbage.

Clean Up Scavenger Hunt

We will be holding a Clean Up Scavenger Hunt on and around the school grounds to pick up litter followed by a brief discussion of the scavenged "treasures" - how they can be re-used and recycled and why it is important for students to take care of the environment and their planet.
