This 4 mile moderate loop run through the Florentine hills is a great morning jog. I recommend running it clockwise, from the river up a decent hill to and around San Miniato, through tuscan pines, and past old churches, vineyards, and mansions, with amazing views of Florence below and a jog down the beautiful walled and curving street of Via di San Leonardo before making your way back into the city. I would give yourself 1.5 to 2 hours.
