These are the places where we set up our easels and painted a landscape entirely on-site and in one session. The paintings usually take about four hours once we're all set up.

6: The Cascades

Our seventh Plein Air Painting was done from inside the studios of radio station WOCA. It was a Saturday and the station owner, Joe Martone, was doing a remote broadcast from Tuscawilla Park and so I needed to be at the station to run the board. Robin and I set up our easels and painted the beautiful garden we see every weekday morning when we do our radio show from the office complex in Ocala, Florida called The Cascades.

15: Ponce Inlet

This was the location from where we painted our 17th Plein Air Paintings on Saturday, September 24, 2011.  We had a perfect view of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and a shaded picnic table.  The weather was beautiful and the park/beach was dog friendly!  It doesn't get any better than that!

16: SS American Victory

This is the location we chose for our seventeenth plein air painting.  It is the location where the World War II ship the American Victory is docked.  Unfortunately, the area provided no shade and so we photographed the ship.  However, even the photographs did not provide a good vantage perspective to properly represent this ship.  So, a painting was rendered of the ship on Sunday, September 18, 2011 using a postcard as a "model".
