The rear of 33 Clapham St (near the park) is fenced off and unused -- seems to be a sort of junkyard. There are two large plum trees that hang over into Murray St, sometimes dropping fruit onto the footpath. You might need a ladder to usefully harvest them. I talked to the residents of 33 Clapham St and they don't have access to the yard, but said that as far as they were concerned they didn't mind people picking the fruit and recommended using a ladder.
