Planted as northern boundary of 'Adventure Island', fruits are probably too high to be easily picked from pavement along Marine Parade. Edible, but sharply flavoured orange berries, used for making fruit juices. This shrub is also useful a Nitrogen fixer, and does well in a maritime habitat due to it's resistance to salty winds.
