hugely popular mediterranean-style bakery (although they make superb french pastries as well), open 24/7. great selection of freshly baked artisanal breads (sourdough, also). my humble favorite is the chocolate rogelach, but it's impossible to stick to just one choice. you just want a bite of everything!
