Aokigahara is a forest known for its numerous suicides, more than 500 people are known to have taken their own lives here. The Japanese government doesn't publicizes the correct number in an attempt to dissociate the forest with suicide.Several signs telling people to reconsider the decision as well as skeletons and objects of the dead can be found around.
