Descripción del sitio
Deoksugung Palace was built during the mid-1400s as a private villa for Prince Wolsan. It was destroyed during Japanese invasions and restored and became Emperor Gojong's official residence in the 1890s. Located in the heart of downtown Seoul, the popular site features both traditional Korean and non-Korean architecture. Three times daily (except Mondays), a re-enactment of the changing of the palace guard can be viewed.
