The lobby of the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver (at CanadaPlace) will be transformed into a stunning 16-day showcase ofAboriginal art, performances, and culture – free to residents andvisitors during the upcoming 2010 Games.The Kla-howya: Aboriginal Village Welcome will featuretraditional dancing, cedar bark weaving, Aboriginal fashions, birchbark chewing, moose hide tufting, jewelry making, carving, storytellingand an opportunity to explore the harvesting of wild herbs fortraditional medicines.
