Lentegeur Secondary School, Mitchell's Plain - Greenpop Beneficiary Locations (sitios de interés)

Trees: 20 fruit trees & 34 indigenous trees. This planting day was done in collaboration with Love your City Cape Town. Volunteers and school children had such a great time in their teams planting trees. The Squirrels were the leaders, the Butterflies were the quality checkers and the Hearts were the beautifyers. During planting we had a super keen litter clearing team who did a great job and the school looked a lot greener and cleaner after all the hard, but fun, work. Thanks to the principal, Mr Frieslaar and the Life Orientation teacher Mrs Hackley, who took such a great interest in the project and got the learners so involved. Students, you were amazing!
