I got my information from my Spanish teacher because she isfrom Peru. I also got information from a website called www.Limaeasy.com too and I got books from the library andpulled out some information from there.
The city ofLima is located in Peru and Peru is located in South America. The best way toget there is by airplane. The weather in Lima during the winter is very dull, gray and misty or garua. Garua is mist falling on your head from the sky. In the summer it is very hot and sticky because the air is very moist.
In down town Limayou can see the colonial history and the central square called Plaza de Armas.You can also see the archbishop’s palace that stands next to the cathedral.Also Lima has many excellent museums and the newest one is the underground goldmuseum. There you can see weavings, pottery and gold craftsmanship of Peru’searly civilizations. If you go to Miraflores you will find Larcormar. Larcomaris a mall that has an ocean view and the mall does not have covering becauseLima does not have snow or heavy rain also you can go Hang gliding next to themall.
Lima is a city found by a Spanish leader 300 years ago, sopeople mostly speak Spanish. Lima is the capital of Peru and is Peru's largestcity. Many Peruvians who live in Lima work in factories and also for thegovernment. They love music, you can see bands playing on the streets andrestaurants. In Lima they celebrate Easter with a parade with people holdingcandles. They love eating potatoes with rice and meats. Their famous dessert isrice pudding. They::text like Llamas as their pets. Lima also has fine museums thathold richest collections of the whole Peruvian past.
