This city is located in Southern Germany which is located in Western Europe. The best way to get there would be by plane but if you're going on a cruise you can take a ship and then drive to Germany.
Weather
The city has definitely four seasons. Munich is hot in the summer and can be quite cold in the winter. Many factors impact the city’s climate making changing weather conditions more often than any other locations on the continent. The weather is typically rainy. One third of the year is rainy. The Alps play a significant role on the climate, causing the city have more rain and snow than any other area in Germany. One should be prepared for a lot of rain or snow when visiting Munich.
Attractions
There are many great and interesting places you can go to in Munich. The city’s most famous attraction is the Octoberfest, which takes place in the city center. There is also the headquarters of the BMW car manufacturer. The stadium of the FC Bayern München is also located there. There are several beautiful old churches, cathedrals, royal avenues and squares in the city center as well as dozens of museums, theaters, opera houses and universities.
