Fog.Warm.Those words are what I think about whenever someone mentions San Francisco!The city is located on the west coast of the U.S. A more exact location is 37˚N and 122˚W.Many islands are part of this city.San Francisco is full of ups and downs;literally!It's built on a grid of around 40 hills!It's in the country,so go by plane!
San Francisco is known for its cool summers and mild winters.Fog is regular in the summer,and the average low for winter is 46.7˚F.Temperatures exceed 75˚F only(on average)28 days of the year!It gets most of its coolness from the Pacific winds.
San Francisco is a great place for a vacation!Visit Chinatown for a steamed bun,take a joyride on the Golden Gate bridge,or visit one o' San Francisco's many museums.The Chinatown of San Francisco is the largest and oldest of the U.S!The Golden Gate bridge was the tallest and longest bridge in the world when it was completed in 1937!Go to Bay Discovery museum and and have some fun!It is for younger kids,with hands on activities,such as building a 22-foot tall Golden Gate bridge!
