Heritage Woods of Freeport is your choice for affordable assisted living in Stephenson County, Illinois.
Heritage Woods is being developed through a partnership between BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois, and the Stephenson County Nursing Center Foundation and will serve adults 65 and older who need some help to maintain their independence.
The community is being constructed on more than five acres of property on the southwest corner of West Pearl City Rd. and south Forest Rd. in Freeport, Illinois, and is scheduled to open for occupancy this summer.
Located in north central Illinois about 25 miles west of Rockford, Freeport serves as the county seat for Stephenson County and is known as “Pretzel City, USA.”
Heritage Woods of Freeport will be full certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, which will enable the community to serve older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid.
