Arizona is located in North America, in the United States. It’s boarders are Utah, Nevada, California, Mexico and New Mexico. The bodies of water that surround Arizona are Lake Powell, the Gulf of California and lake Mead. Phoenix is the capital of Arizona. Phoenix is located in the south central part of state on the Salt River. You can travel to Phoenix, Arizona by car, bus, train and plane. I would take a plane.

Arizona’s climate changes from one region to the next. The mountains have very cold winters that are harsh, but the desert winters are sunny and mild. In June, July and August it can get up to 100F. Winter brings milder temperature to the desert of about 70F. At night it can drop to below freezing. For this trip I would pack t-shirts, shorts, long sleeve shirts, shorts, pants, shoes, socks, Jacket, hat, gloves, sun glasses and don’t forget your sunscreen!!!

There are so many fun things to do in Arizona. These are my top three things I would::text like to do and go to in Arizona. First, I would visit The Grand Canyon. The reason I chose this was because there are trails to hike on or you can go on a mule-back ride. The Peach Springs are awesome to see and you can visit the Native American sites and ruins.

Second, I suggest going to the Goldfield Ghost Town and go on a gold mine tour.

My last stop, would be the Petrified Forest National Park. I chose this because there are piles of colorful petrified wood at this park. Also, there is a dinosaur exhibit and you get to go on a tour and look at fossils of a creature named “Gertie”.
