Description: As part of their studies, the graduate students at the Kumasi Institute of Tropical Agriculture (KITA) established tree nurseries and raised 56,500 trees of a variety of agroforestry species. An agroforestry curriculum based upon TREES training materials is being taught to graduate students at KITA. The trees are being planted by the students and community members around Kumasi.
